Dr. Krista Underhill, BSC., DDS

Dr. Krista Underhill grew up along New Brunswick’s Miramichi River and graduated from Dalhousie dental school in 1995. She has over 30 years of experience, including 16 years providing care to military members at CFB Stadacona. Krista offers Invisalign and therapeutic Botox, and stays current through ongoing training. Outside the clinic, she enjoys gardening, birdwatching, cycling, music, and is always working on her golf game!

Dr. Ashfaq Jiwani (Dr. AJ)

Dr. Ashfaq Jiwani (Dr. AJ) is a dedicated and compassionate dentist committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-focused oral health care. He graduated from Dalhousie University's Faculty of Dentistry in 2014. With a strong foundation in general and restorative dentistry and over a decade of combined academic achievement and clinical experience he brings a wealth of knowledge and a patient-centered approach to every aspect of oral health care. He believes in staying at the forefront of dental innovation through ongoing professional development and by incorporating the latest evidence-based techniques into his practice.

Dr. AJ believes that outstanding dental care is built on clear communication, trust, and individualized treatment planning. He takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs, concerns, and goals, empowering them with information and options that support informed decisions. His approachable manner and attention to detail ensure that every visit is comfortable, efficient, and tailored to achieve lasting results.

Outside of the office, Dr. AJ enjoys exploring the scenic trails of Nova Scotia alongside his wife and their dog, Zeus. A passionate food enthusiast, he delights in trying new restaurants and local culinary offerings. He also stays active through golf and cycling, balancing professional dedication with an appreciation for life’s adventures.

Dr. Charanpal Ahluwalia, BSC., DDS

Dr. Ahluwalia is a graduate of Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry and has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry for over 15 years. He’s committed to ongoing learning through advanced continuing education and plays an active role in professional organizations. Outside of work, Dr. Ahluwalia enjoys family time with his wife Manjinder and their two sons.

Dr. Samson So

Dr. So is a general dentist focused on providing oral surgery with sedation, and is proud to provide wonderful care to his patients. He earned his dental degree from Western University in 2016 and has gone on to take many continuing education courses. He is passionate about education and is an Adjunct Clinic Professor at Western University in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery division.

Tim Nguyen

Tim Nguyen is experienced in and dedicated to creating quality, custom dentures for every patient, whether a partial, full, or implant-retained denture. He takes pride and enjoys the challenges in correcting smiles and refitting dentures allowing patients to eat properly and enjoy their smile. Tim looks forward to meeting you and helping you to maintain your healthy, happy smile.

Natalie Regional Manager

Natalie is a Registered Dental Assistant who graduated from SAIT in 2004 and has over 15 years of experience in the dental industry. Known for her strong leadership and commitment to patient care, she has helped grow both team culture and new patient numbers. Outside of work, Natalie is a proud mom of three and the founder of Hockey Girl Gurl, a clothing brand empowering girls in hockey.

Carrie Administrative Associate

Carrie is a mother of three wonderful children, and is currently the co-general leader of the Burlington Workers 4H Club. In her spare time she volunteers with her children’s school and hockey, and loves to spend time on her family farm and camp out at their beach lot in the summer.

Macie Registered Dental Assistant

Macie is a graduate of the NSCC IT campus. In the winter she enjoys playing hockey for the West Hants senior women’s team and snowboarding at Ski Martock. In the summer she enjoys spending time with friends and family at their cottage. She also pulls tug-o-war for the local Falmouth lady’s team!

Sarah Registered Dental Hygienist

Sarah completed a science degree at St. Mary’s University and graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Dalhousie University in 2009. She’s been assisting and educating patients to optimize their oral care at this location for over 10 years. Sarah enjoys providing a pleasant experience to her many returning patients and introducing new patients to the dental team. She is from the area and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Aaren Registered Dental Assistant

Aaren graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2012. She really enjoys working as a Registered Dental Assistant and has worked at Hants County Dental Centre since she graduated. Aaren lives in Falmouth with her husband and two small children. On her time off she enjoys camping and spending time with her family.
